804 <br />Sanitary Sewer System The following resolution approving plans and <br />Improvement No. I, specifications and ordering advertisement for bids <br />Part I - Plans & specs. was, on motion by VParkentien, seconded by Stewart, <br />approved. Adv. for _ °passed by a unanimous vote: <br />Bids Ordered. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Village Council <br />on January 2lt, 1957, Toltz, King, Duvall, Anderson & Associates, <br />Resolution - Inc., have prepared plans and specifications for the installation <br />of a Sanitary Seger System in the Village of Falcon Heights, <br />to wit: <br />Sanitary Sewer System Improvement No. I, <br />Part I; <br />and have presented such plans and specifications and addenda <br />thereto to the Council for approval; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, YINI~ESOTA: <br />Approval of 1. Such plans and specifications and addenda, a copy of which <br />plans & specs. are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br />2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted <br />in The Rose Tribune and in the Construction Bulletin, an <br />Advertisement for Bids upon the making of such improvement <br />under such approved plans and specifications. The Advertisement <br />shall be published in The Rose Tribune on April kith and April <br />11th, 1957, and shall be published on each of the same dates in <br />the Construction Bulletin. <br />Advertisement 3. The Advertisement shall specify the work to be done, shall <br />of Bids state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at <br />ordered 8:00 P.M., on April 30, 1957, in the Council Chambers of the <br />Village Hall and that no bids will be considered unless sealed <br />and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, <br />certified check or bidder's bond payable to Falcon Heights for <br />5~ of the amount of such bid. <br />2~ prem. tax Stuart reported being informed by an insurance company <br />on Fire Insurance representative that some fire insurance companies preferring <br />to establish their ovn rate tables, do not register with the <br />Fire Underwriters Bureau and are therefore not subject to <br />having any of their policies screened and stamped with the <br />proper firetoNm number by the Bureau. This, Stewart said, <br />was confirmed by the State Insurance Commissioner's office. <br />After discussion,~it was agreed that the matter should be <br />referred to the League of Minnesota Municipalities. <br />State Fire School In connection with the State Fire School to be held the <br />fees authorized week of April 22-2b, 1957, a letter fmm the League of <br />Minnesota Municipalities advised that the fee for the entire <br />course per individual is 815.00. 0n recommendation of the <br />Fire Chief, Nilsen moved, seconded by Stewart, that the <br />payment of fees for attendance of said school be authorized <br />for Fireman Donald W.Schoen, Asst. Chief Gordon Nelson and <br />Chief Earl Grumke. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
