804 Sanitary Sewer System The following resolution approving plans and Improvement No. I, specifications and ordering advertisement for bids Part I - Plans & specs. was, on motion by VParkentien, seconded by Stewart, approved. Adv. for _ °passed by a unanimous vote: Bids Ordered. WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Village Council on January 2lt, 1957, Toltz, King, Duvall, Anderson & Associates, Resolution - Inc., have prepared plans and specifications for the installation of a Sanitary Seger System in the Village of Falcon Heights, to wit: Sanitary Sewer System Improvement No. I, Part I; and have presented such plans and specifications and addenda thereto to the Council for approval; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF FALCON HEIGHTS, YINI~ESOTA: Approval of 1. Such plans and specifications and addenda, a copy of which plans & specs. are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in The Rose Tribune and in the Construction Bulletin, an Advertisement for Bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The Advertisement shall be published in The Rose Tribune on April kith and April 11th, 1957, and shall be published on each of the same dates in the Construction Bulletin. Advertisement 3. The Advertisement shall specify the work to be done, shall of Bids state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at ordered 8:00 P.M., on April 30, 1957, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bidder's bond payable to Falcon Heights for 5~ of the amount of such bid. 2~ prem. tax Stuart reported being informed by an insurance company on Fire Insurance representative that some fire insurance companies preferring to establish their ovn rate tables, do not register with the Fire Underwriters Bureau and are therefore not subject to having any of their policies screened and stamped with the proper firetoNm number by the Bureau. This, Stewart said, was confirmed by the State Insurance Commissioner's office. After discussion,~it was agreed that the matter should be referred to the League of Minnesota Municipalities. State Fire School In connection with the State Fire School to be held the fees authorized week of April 22-2b, 1957, a letter fmm the League of Minnesota Municipalities advised that the fee for the entire course per individual is 815.00. 0n recommendation of the Fire Chief, Nilsen moved, seconded by Stewart, that the payment of fees for attendance of said school be authorized for Fireman Donald W.Schoen, Asst. Chief Gordon Nelson and Chief Earl Grumke. Motion carried unanimously.
