Co., Mi 6-5200, Apr 10, X17.20 <br />1 <br />~I <br />Mail Box matter A number of complaints were reported. regarding the present <br />inconvenient location of the mail box on the south side of <br />Larpenteur east of Snelling. Agreed that the Clerk should <br />contact the St Paul post office and see if the mail box <br />cannot be moved back to its former location on the corner <br />of Arona and Larpenteur. <br />M.G.I. License #88 Master Gas Installer's license No. 88, issued to Comfort <br />Engineers, Inc., 1636 University Avenue, St Paul, for <br />period December 19, 1956 thru June 30, 1957, was approved <br />on motion by Nilsen, seconded by Warkentien. <br />Parks ~: Playgrounds The matter of securing an inventory of Parks & Playgrounds <br />inventory R~ report equipment and a report on activities of the department <br />for 1956, was discussed further. The Mayor will handle <br />the request for same. <br />St .Paul resolution Letter of April 10, 1957, from the City Clerk, City of <br />approving plans ~: St Paul, was read enclosing a certified copy of a resolution, <br />specs. for construction Council File No. 182262, adopted by the St Paul City Council <br />Sanitary Sewer System on April 9, 1957, approving plans and specifications for <br />Improvement No. I, construction of Sanitary Sewer System Improvement No. I, <br />Part I. Part L <br />Shell Service Warkentien reported that fluorescent lights at the <br />Station matters Shell Service Station should. be replaced with amber <br />bulbs,. and that cluster lights should be adjusted so <br />as not to shine in the streets. He also said that <br />a review of files on this matter indicated some land- <br />scaping was to be done. He was advised that correction <br />of these conditions could be requested if they affected <br />the health, welfare and safety of the citizens. <br />Property north Shavor reported that he had talked with the owner of <br />of Shell Station the property immediately ncr th of the Shell Station <br />and that the. owner promised to clean up the lot. <br />Said he would report on the property south of Garden <br />on Hamline after contacting the owner. <br />House moving matter Attorney Graham reported on an inquiry from St Paul's Asst. <br />Corporation Counsel, Mr.O'Toole, about a client ale~in~n~ to move a <br />house into Falcon Hts. Mr. O'Toole will be asked to write <br />the Village Clerk, giving details. <br />
