<br />Western Union The Attorney reported on a Western Union telegram dated June
<br />from The Bond 13, 1957 received from The Bond Buyer, of New York, urging
<br />Buyer the Village to publish notice in The Bond Buyer re our
<br />96900,000 Sanitary Sewer System~Improvement Bonds. .After
<br />determining that bids for municipal bonds in this area
<br />come from Chicago or local bidders, it was decided not to
<br />use The Bond Buye~publication.
<br />$610,000 deposit In connection with replacing the X10,000.00 certified check
<br />with State of deposited with the State Highway Department in connection
<br />;~innesota - Sever with scorer work on the Snelling Avenue crossing, it was
<br />suggested that arrangements be made with the Falcon Heights
<br />State Bank for issuance of a six-month Certificate of Den_osit
<br />in the amount of X10,000 bearing interest at the rate of 3
<br />per cent. After discussion, Shaver moved that the Treasurer
<br />be authorized to arrange for issuance of said Certificate of
<br />Deposit, the arrangement to be approved by the Village Attorney.
