g5i <br />Siren matter siren received. The Clerk was asked to write the Federal <br />(cont'd.) Sign and Signal Corporation that their offer is satisfactory. <br />Shell Oil Station Copy of a letter addressed to Trustee Warkentien from the <br />Improvements Management of the Shell Oil Station, 1107 W. Larpenteur, <br />under date of June 11t, 1957, was read relative to proposed <br />improvements in the appearance of the station, includirsg <br />landscaping, additional hard surfacing, ranch type fence <br />and replacement of present lighting~rith overhead island <br />lighter that will focus directly on the pumps. Also copy <br />of Trustee Warkentien's letter of June 19, 1957 to the <br />District Manager, of the Shell Oil Company, was read, thanking <br />them for their cooperation. <br />P.E.R.A. - The Village Attorney's letter of June 25, 1957, was read <br />Attorney's relative to the new pension legislation passed by the 1957 <br />Report on Minnesota Legislature and how it affects the Village. <br />new legis- <br />l ation <br />Sewer Charges The matter of proposed eharges for sewer services to areas <br />Revision outside the City of St Paul as recommended ~y the City's <br />Technical Committee ix: a letter dated May 28, 1957, was <br />discussed. <br />Hearing on Letter of June 19, 1957 from the Village Attorney, relative <br />request of to a notice of hearing and a copy of the petition of the <br />St Paul City Ry. St Paul City Railway Company, of May 22, 1957, to the State <br />Company to in- Railroad Commission in connection with the Company's <br />crease fares application to increase fares, was read. <br />Cigarette On motion by Utecht, seconded by Warkentien, applications <br />licenses- for licenses to sell cigarettes at retail for the year <br />ending June 30, 1958, were approved for the following: <br />Flameburger Corporation <br />Allan's Standard Service <br />Gray's Drug Store <br />Falcon Heights Pharmacy <br />National Tea Company <br />Farmers Union Grain Terminal Association <br />Shell Oil Station <br />Falcon Oil Station <br />Off Sale On motion by Warkentien, seconded by Nilsen, applications <br />Beer licenses for ~."_Off Sale" licenses to sell non-intoxicating malt liquors <br />at .retail for the year ending June 30, 1958, were approved <br />for the following: <br />National Tea Company <br />Grays Drug Store <br />Falcon Heights Pharmacy <br /> <br />
