<br />Minneapolis Letter of July 9, 1957, from Mr. L.L. Halladay;~'Water

<br />carried unanimously.
<br />Geo. H. Townsend, Letter of June 28, 1957 was read from Mr. Geo. H. Townsend,
<br />Village Assessor, advising of his plans to move to Harrison, Arkansas
<br />resigns and offering-his resignation as Village Assessor.
<br />Utecht moved that Mr. Townsend's resignation be accepted
<br />with anyappropriate letter of thanks for his services as
<br />Village Assessor. Seconded by Shavor and motion carried
<br />unanimously.
<br />Meeting re street County Auditor's het~er of July 3, 1957, was•read as
<br />lights', County roads to a meeting of the County Board Road and Bridge Committee`
<br />' called for Monday, July 15, 1957, for the purpose of
<br />determining policy on questions as to location, frequency
<br />of establishment and maintenance of street lights on
<br />County roads. Mr. Vern L3ungren, of our Village Engineer's
<br />staff, will attend.
<br />Alley behind Rees' The Clerk reported that he had phoned Mr. Douglas Rees,
<br />business properties owner of the Rees' business properties north of Larpenteur,
<br />relative to the need for repairing the alley in Keller's
<br />Reaarangement, ffiock 10, based on additional information
<br />secured from Engineer L3ungren. Letter of July 5 from
<br />Mr. Rees was then read, enclosing check in the amount of
<br />$150., which Mr. Rees stated was their cort.ribution to
<br />pay one-half the estimated X300. cost of iahe proposed
<br />repairs to said alley. Stewart moved that a letter of
