~7~~v Special Meeting, hold a special meeting of the council at the Village Hall, Aug. 1, 1957 Thursday, August 1, 1957, beginning at 7:00 P.M. (cont'd.) Sanitary Sewer Following a report on preparation of a proposed assessment Assessment roll in connection with Sanitary Sewer System Improvement No. 1, the following resolution was introduced and moved by Trustee Nilsen: Resolution WHEREAS, by resolution passed by the Council on Tuesday, July 25, 1957, the Village Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for X620,000 of the cost of the Sanitary Sewer System Improvement No. l; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. N~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVES by the Village of Falcon Heights: (1) A hearing shall be held on the 15th day of August in the Village Hall at 7:00 P.Pd., to pass upon such proposed assessment, and at such time and place the persons owning the property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment . (2) The Village Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he skh.].1 state in the notice the total cost of the assessment. Seconded by Shavor and said resolution adopted by a unanimous vote. Extra Order #2 Extra order No. 2 to Peter Lametti Construction Compar~r, dated approved July 18, 1957, in the amount of ~7?.70 for locating Sanitary Sewer Connection from Village Hall and Fire Station, was submitted. Shavor moved that the Cb rk be authorized to execute said Order for the Village. Seconded by Nilsen and motion carried. Installing sewer The Clerk reported receiving a phone call from ~2r. V4'.N. Brisley, within 10 feet of of Grudem Company, asking that the Grudem Company be permitted building at 1790 to have the sewer brought within 10 feet of the building at Larpenteur,authorized 1790 Larpentesur. After discussion and on motion by Shavor, seconded by Nilsen, the following resolution was adopted: Resolution RESOLVED, that the Clerk be authorized to advise Rdr. Biisley that at their own expense the council will permit them to have the sewer brought within 10 feet of the said building, all work to be inspected and approved for the Village by the Resident Engineer „ and that they agree to pay all costs in connection with the work and to pay the Village permit fee when established by Ordinance, also to agree not to use the sewer until authorized by the Council for any purpose.
