House connection matters were discussed with <br />Mr. Dabruzzi. <br />Double bungalow John Rief, 2429 Emerson South, Minneapolis, and W, Mold, of <br />proposed the M. 14 W. Realty, of Minneapolis, asked for permission to <br /> build a double bungalow on two lots, 75x123 each, at Tatum <br /> and Larpenteur. They were informed the property was zoned <br /> Class "A" Residence and would have to be rezoned to Residence <br /> District "B" for their purpose, the procedure being set out <br /> in Ordinance No. 8 as to submitting a petition of 50 per cent <br /> by number of the property. owners within 500 ft. of the property <br /> to be affected. Mr. Rief was furnished with a copy of <br /> Ordinance No. 8. <br />North Snelling Costs for servicing with sanitary sewer the area on the <br />severer matter west side of Snelling from Roselawn to Maplewood were <br /> discussed v~d th Earl Grumke. <br />Curbing - Hoyt Engineer V.L. Ljungren's ~epbrt of July 25, 1957, was <br />Avenue read relative to the proposed concrete curb improvement <br /> on Hoyt Avenue from the southwestern corner of Lot 1, Blk 8, <br /> Northome Second Addition to Pascal Ave. On the engineer's recom- <br /> mendation,this was consolidated into Curbing Improvement No. 1. <br />Resolution - WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted <br />.Moved by Shavor, July 11, 1957, a report has been prepared by Engineer V.L. <br />seconded by Nilsen, Ljungren with reference to the improvement of the North side <br />and adopted: of Hoyt Avenue between the Easterly line of Lot 10, Block 9, <br /> Northome Second Addition and the Westerly line of Pascal t~ve~ue, <br /> by the installation of curbing, and his report tivas received <br /> by the council on July 25, 197. - <br /> y <br /> NOW THEN.~;NOt~', BE TT RESOLVED by the Village Council, Village <br /> of Falcon Heights, r,4innesota: <br />(1) The council will consider the improvement of said street <br /> in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting <br /> property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, <br /> pursuant to M.S.A. Secs, 429.011 to 429.111 at an estimated <br /> total cost of the .improvement of X5,050. <br /> Hearing, (2) A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improve- <br /> Aug. 22, 1957 men t on the 22nd day of August 1957 in the Council Chambers, <br /> in the Village Hall, at 7:00 P.M., and the Clerk shall give <br /> <br />Sewer ordinances published notice of such hearing as required by law. <br />The proposed sewer ordinance providing for house connections <br /> and other proposed sever ordinances were discussed and <br /> referred to the Pillage Attorney. <br /> Special Meeting, On motion by Shavor, seconded by Nilsen, it was voted to <br /> Aug. 1, 1957 <br />
