<br />A.J. Falkoski It was repor ted that Village Plumbing Inspector E.J. Hoasard
<br />appointed was on leave of absence and that he recommended the appointment
<br />Village Plumb- of A.J. Falkoski, 113 Iowa, as Village Plumbing Inspector.
<br />ing Inspector Shavor moved approval of the appointment of Mr. Falkoski
<br />as recommended by Mr, Bossard during the latter's absence.
<br />Seconded by Stewart and motion carried unanimously.
<br />Police Car Fire Chief Grumke's letter of September 26, 1957 was read,
<br />garage suggesting as a safety measure that arrangements be made
<br />for parking the Village police car somewhere other than
<br />on the apparatus floor of the Fire Department. After
<br />discussion, Trustee Nilsen agreed to check with the Sussel
<br />Compaxiy regarding a 21ix2lt pre-cut garage.
<br />Minneapolis Letter of September 16, 1957 from the Minneapolis Fire
<br />Fire Department Department, inviting the Falcon Heights Fire~Department
<br />parade to participate in their Fire Prevention parade on Monday
<br />evening October 7, 1957, was read, also Fire Chief Grumke's
<br />note stating that a number of men are willing to take part
<br />again this year. On motion by Utecht, seconded by Stewart,
<br />approval of our Fire Department's participation in said
<br />parade, was authorized.
<br />Twin City Testing including their invoice No. 57788, dated August 31, in the
<br />and Engineering amount of X215.00, was discussed. Shavor moved that the
<br />Laboratory, Inc. bill be paid less X25.00 deduction for loss of the sampler
<br />bill previously paid for. Seconded by Nilsen and motion carried
<br />unanimously.
<br />Civil Def®nse Letter of September 26, 1957 from Fire Chief Grumke relative
<br />matter to material he has received from the Office of Civil Defense
<br />and his desire to turn the material over to the Civil Defense
<br />Director for the Village. Suggested that he be informed
<br />to turn this over to Civil Defense Director Warkentien.
<br />Mrs. Sorensen On motion by Warkentien, seconded by Stewart, Mrs. Hazel
<br />appointment, Sorensen, T783 N. Holton, was appointed as representative
<br />UN Day and Week in charge of the UN Day and week activities for Falcon Heights.
