X340 <br />Craig Company Mr. Steffes presented and explained Credit Memo <br />Contract #1 in the amount of $596.80 and Extra Order #1 <br />in the amount of $1, 368.50, under the Jay W. Craig <br />Company contract and Certificate #g covering the <br />third estimate for partial payment to Jay W. <br />Craig Company in the amount of $14,883.58 cover- <br />ing work to date. After discussion, upon motion <br />by Utecht, seconded by Warkentien, and adopted <br />by unanimous vote, the Mayor was authorized to <br />sign the Credit Memo and the Extra Order and <br />the payment covered by the certificate was <br />authorized to be made out of the Construction <br />Fund Account. <br />East Snelling Drive Mr. Steffes discussed the additional work neces- <br />South of Larpenteur sary to be done on East Snelling Drive between <br />Hoyt and Larpenteur Avenue as required by the <br />State of Minnesota. It appears that the State <br />of Minnesota refused to accept patch work as <br />required by the specifications and required that <br />the entire drive be resurfaced resulting in an <br />extra and additional cost to the Village. <br />Toltz, King etc. Mr. Steffes presented bills of Toltz, King, <br />Bills Duvall, Anderson ~ Associates, Inc. dated <br />December 1~7, 1957, the first in the amount of <br />$2,223.35 covering engineering services and <br />inspection to date on the sanitary sewer and a <br />second bill in the amount of $148.51 covering <br />engineering services in connection with Holton <br />Avenue drainage service. After discussion, on <br />motion by Nilsen, seconded by Warkentien, payment <br />of these out of the sanitary sewer construction <br />fund account was authorized subject to checking <br />and approval of the bills by the Clerk: <br />Tree repair and Mr. Schultz was present and was requested to make <br />trimming, an estimate of the damage to trees done by Lametti <br />Construction Company on the trees north of <br />Larpenteur, to be submitted to Lametti with a copy <br />to the Village upon the understanding that any <br />dangerous trees would be fixed up immediately at <br />Lametti's expense. <br />Sewer Connection Mr. Nilsen reported that the owner of a home <br />located at the Northeast corner of Simpson and <br />Crawf ord desired to connect to the sewer on Craw- <br />ford rather than on Simpson, where the stub was <br />located. After discussion, upon motion by Shavor, <br />seconded by Utecht, the following resolution was <br />unanimously carried: <br />J <br />
