A problem associated with <br />GNMAs, is that they are along-term investment, and therefore subject to market fluctuations. <br />2. Support for Persons Doing. the Investing <br />Financial institutions can exert tremendous pressure on the persons in smaller <br />communities to place all of the City's funds with them. However, even a small fraction <br />of one percent difference in interest earnings can make a substantial difference in the <br />amount of interest earnings the City realizes. <br />It is, therefore, important that the person doing the investing be given the support from <br />City Attorney, City Administrator, and Council, so that they can do the investment job in <br />the most professional way.
