Our <br />responsibility is to review the work of the staff and consultants and make recommendations on the Central <br />Corridor transit alternatives being studied in an Alternatives Analysis/Draft Environmental Impact Statement. <br />Staff has been working with the Federal Transit Administration on approval of the Central Corridor Draft <br />Environmental Impact Statement so that it can be released for public hearings. We anticipate receiving federal <br />approval soon. Meanwhile, other planning and engineering work is underway that we'd like to review with you. <br />Please mark your calendars for these dates for the Central Corridor Coordinating Committee meetings. The June <br />24 meeting will be held at the University of Minnesota, MacNamara Alumni Center, Suite 200.
