Green Company is pleased to provide you with this proposal for engineering services <br />relating to the final plan preparation for the improvements to Curtiss Field Park. We have based <br />our proposal on the Curtis Field Park Site Improvements preferred alternative described in the <br />City-provided October 2002 Feasibility Report. <br />• SCOPE.OF SERVICES <br />Landscape <br />1. Evaluate and design final location of sidewalk/path. Basic footprint of the deck behind the <br />shelter to be completed under this scope. If the City desires, HRG staff will complete <br />design and structural construction documents to be negotiated at the attached hourly <br />rates. <br />2. Design and locate preselected ornamental fence surrounding the playground and along <br />the eastern border of the park. Finalize location and installation details for preselected <br />benches, signs, and gazebo. <br />3. Enhance picnic area through plantirigs and relocation/addition of tables, grills, and other <br />amenities as directed by the City. <br />4. Develop a site landscape planting plan, specifications and details for vegetative screening, <br />park entries, and site enhancement. Leaf drop and impact to water storage area will be a <br />key evaluation item for plant selection. <br />• Grading ,Utility, & Street <br />1. Prepare grading plan detailing additional panding area and removal of the existing <br />Snelling Avenue frontage road. <br />2. Prepare removal .plan showing all vegetative clearing, site removals such as fences, <br />sidewalks. <br />3. Relocate watermain along Snelling Avenue frontage road in accordance with St. Paul <br />• water requirements.. <br />4.
