Minutes of all Council and Commission meetings are filed with <br />the Legislative Reference Library, 645 State Office Building, 6th Floor, in St. Paul for a period of up to two years and can be <br />viewed by the public. Call the appropriate commission or operations area for meeting information and/or specific questions. <br />Metropolitan Council <br />The Metropolitan Council is located at Mears Park Centre, 230 E. Check the Internet web site at http://www.metrocounciLorg. <br />The Council... <br />Environment <br />Council's Comprehensive Plan for the <br />collection, treatment and disposal of <br />sewage in the Metropolitan Area; <br />• authorized its Regional Administrator to <br />• issue a purchase order to DPC Industries to <br />purchase Chlorine in Ton Cylinders and <br />Sodium Hypochlorite (Bleach), and a <br />purchase order to Hawkins, Inc. to purchase <br />Bulk Chlorine, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium <br />Bisulfate and Nitric Acid. <br />authorized its Regional Administrator to <br />execute a Construction Cooperation <br />Agreement with the city of Minnetrista for <br />design and construction of the Council's L- <br />51 Forcemain Replacement Project between <br />Enchanted Island and the mainland of Lake <br />Minnetonka, MCES Project No.809004. <br />approved the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for <br />the city of Minneapolis. If a new combined <br />sewer overflow (CSO) permit alters the <br />timetable or requirements for improvements, <br />then the city's plan must be amended to <br />reflect those changes. <br />• adopted a resolution which: <br />• 1. determines that certain interceptors are <br />no longer needed to implement the <br />2. places the interceptors on the Council's <br />pending reconveyance list as of the date <br />of Council action; <br />3. determines that the Council will use the <br />procedures in Minnesota Statutes, <br />section 473.5111, in order to dispose of <br />the facilities; and <br />4. directs staff to evaluate the identified <br />interceptors to determine if each <br />continues to be of benefit for use as a <br />local facility and the benefited local <br />government unit, whether the <br />interceptor is in good operating <br />condition, and, if not in good operating <br />condition, the necessary repairs and cost <br />to put the interceptor in good operating <br />condition. <br />• authorized the General Manager of <br />Environmental Services to hold a public <br />hearing on the Draft South St. Paul Lift <br />Station (L-65) Improvements Facility Plan. <br />• took action to allow communities that were <br />deemed ineligible to participate in the <br />
