City of Champlin, NIN; Redevelopment and TIF Plans for Old Town and • <br />Brittany Square. This project included the planning for and the <br />preparation of Redevelopment, Feasibility and TIF Plans for two very large <br />areas of Champlin. HGI was the lead firm providing land use planning and <br />project management services. <br />City of Chanhassen, MN; Project Area Redevelopment Plan. The project <br />included the preparation of a Project Area Redevelopment and TIF Plan for <br />630 acres of land including Downtown Chanhassen and the Chanhassen <br />Lakes Business Park. <br />City of Chanhassen, NIN; Downtown Redevelopment Plan. This project <br />involved taking a fresh look at Downtown Chanhassen after prior <br />redevelopment efforts had failed. It included the formulation of a new <br />redevelopment concept plan which would allow for a lesser financial <br />commitment on the part of the City while allowing smaller more "do~ible" <br />projects than were possible with the previous plan. All of the <br />infrastructure (streets, utilities, storm drainage) improvements have b~;en <br />completed and the first new retail project is under construction. <br />RELATED FRED HOISINGTON EXPERIENCE <br />City of Traverse City, iVII; Comprehensive Plan. This project involved the <br />preparation of a Comprehensive Plan for an older resort community witf~ a <br />downtown, in northern iVlichigan where Mr. Hoisington was the City <br />Planning Director. Mr. Hoisington was responsible for project management <br />and plan preparation. The process included five public interactive forums <br />whose purpose were to identify community issues and formulate <br />community goals. <br />City of Rosemount. MN; Comprehensive Plan. This project was very similar <br />to the Traverse City Comprehensive Planning Process in that it involved a <br />significant public participation program. While with another consulting <br />firm, Mr. Hoisington was project manager and chief land use planner for <br />the original City Comprehensive Plan and a later update. <br />Cit~r of Edina, M N ; Western Edina and Southwest Edina Plans. Mr. <br />Hoisington was responsible for the preparation of sector plans for two <br />large areas of the City of Edina while serving as its Planning Director. Not <br />unlike a comprehensive plan, these included land use, transportation, <br />community facilities and utilities plans. • <br />Project Experience Page 2 <br />
