• FALCON HEIGHTS CITY COUNCIL MINUTES _2_ <br />March 9, 2005 <br />Consideration of an amended interim use permit for a farmer's market at 2025 West <br />Lamenteur Avenue (continued) <br />Administrator Worthington said that vendors who arrive before 6:30 a.m.will need to park in the <br />south parking lot (Larpenteur side). In addition, Twin City Co-ops will monitor the trash issue <br />closely to ensure that this problem is addressed. The Planning Commission voted to add the <br />following provision: <br />• The property owner will allow access to its south parking lot for vendors arriving before <br />the 6:30 a.m. set-up time. Vendors who arrive before 6:30 a.m. must park in the south <br />parking lot (Larpenteur side). <br />This provision addressed the two residents' concerns, and they were amenable to the IUP going <br />forward as amended. <br />Administrator Worthington utilized the LCD projector to give a brief historical perspective of the <br />two years the Farmer's Market has been at the Twin City Co-ops site in Falcon Heights, the <br />• current interim use permit and the modifications being proposed to said permit. <br />Two representatives for the Twin City Co-ops Federal Credit Union were in attendance, <br />Cindy Hartley and Todd Barduson. Ms. Hartley said the Farmer's Market is a great asset to the <br />City of Falcon Heights. Everyone comes over and enjoys it. This year it will open on Tuesday, <br />May 3, right before Mother's Day, enabling people to purchase bedding plants. Todd Barduson <br />travels the perimeter of the property to make sure there is regular cleanup. <br />Mayor Gehrz thanked Twin City Co-ops Federal Credit Union and its staff for their ongoing <br />involvement and participation in the Falcon Heights community. <br />Lamb moved affirmation of the Planning Commission's recommendations, and approval of the <br />amended Interim Use Permit for the Farmer's Market at 2025 West Larpenteur Avenue, <br />including the additional provision regarding vendor access appended by the Planning <br />Commission, as outlined below.
