• <br />INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR -Vernix Forestry is deemed to be an independent <br />contractor for the purposes of the services it provides under this Agreement and shall not be <br />entitled to any of the benefits usually accorded regular City employees, including but not limited <br />to severance pay, health and welfare, insurance benefits, retirement credits, worker's <br />compensation coverage, or any other similar rights or benefits that would apply to the present <br />City of Falcon Heights employees. <br />TERM -Either of the parties may terminate this Agreement for any reason by giving the other <br />party thirty (30) days written notice.
