Draft <br />Guidelines Establishing Priority for use of Park <br />Buildings and City Hall Facilities <br />Priority for Scheduling Facilities <br />A. Puraose Statement- Due to the interest and request for the City's park buildings <br />and city hall facilities, it is necessary to establish a priority system to insure that <br />the City's facilities are made available in an equitable manner to best meet <br />community needs. <br />B. Priorities- Listed below are the priorities for use of City buildings. <br />1. All City activities or recreation programs; <br />2. Residents and community groups including athletic associations, churches, or <br />civic organizations that provide recreation opportunities to Falcon Heights <br />residents; <br />3. School District # 623 and University of Minnesota activities and programs; <br />4. All other individuals or groups including non-resident, commercial and private <br />membership groups. <br />5. See appendix A for the list of local service organizations eligible for free use of <br />facilities. • <br />C. Permits <br />In order to receive exclusive use of any City facilities, groups or organizations <br />must follow the application guidelines and policies established by the city, to <br />receive an appropriate permit. <br />D. Disclaimer <br />The City of Falcon Heights reserves the right to schedule park buildings and <br />facilities in a manner that best serves the City and its parks. <br />E. Dew <br />Building use requires the payment of a damage deposit in the amount of $200.00, <br />made payable on a separate check. <br />• <br />
