Councilmember Lamb moved to adopt the elected official out-of--state travel policy with the
• agreed upon changes, striking the last sentence of the first paragraph and all bulleted items
following it. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Talbot. Motion passed unanimously.
2. SCORE Grant Resolution
Administrator Worthington introduced the item by stating the resolution is a perennial item
required in order to accept funds to offset recycling expenses. For 2006, the grant amount is
expected to be $10,447.00 which goes towards recycling fees, and education items like
newsletters and flyers.
Councilmember Lindstrom moved to approve the SCORE grant resolution. The motion passed
unanimously.
3. Combination of Parcels
Administrator Worthington began the item by stating the parcel combination request came from
the homeowner. The combination of parcels is due to old lot combinations in the city, and would
issue a new PIN number and combined assessments for the property.
Councilmember Kuettel moved to approve the combination of parcels. The motion passed
unanimously.
4. Amoco/BP Lease Amendment
Administrator Worthington began the item by stating that BP/Amoco recommended a
memorandum of lease, which is a restatement of the current lease of a narrow strip of land about
10 feet wide owned by the City and leased to BP/Amoco. She added it is standard to ask for this
• document, and has seen it in instances of refinancing and title insurance renewal. The document
was looked over by City Attorney Roger Knutson, and was changed to reflect format for city and
county use.
Councilmember Talbot moved to approve the BP/Amoco Lease Amendment. The motion
passed unanimously.
INFORMATION/ANNOUNCEMENTS
Councilmember Talbot shared about his experience interviewing candidates and winners for
CTV during election night. He was told that more people watch CTV for election results than go
to the Ramsey County website, and congratulated all for a well done election.
Councilmembers Lindstrom and Kuettel thanked election judges and all those who voted.
Councilmember Lamb reminded residents of the upcoming recycling changes in 2006, with
recycling moving from 1St and 3`d Friday to simply every other Friday. Anew calendar is slated
to go out in mid-December.
Mayor Gehrz invited residents to the Taste of Falcon Heights on November 15th. Entertainment,
tours, food, music, city information, and townhome information will be available.
1. Update: Hockey Warming House at Falcon Heights Elementary
Administrator Worthington gave a hockey warming house update.
