• No building or structure regulated by this code shall <br />be erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, <br />moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished <br />unless a separate permit for each building or structure <br />has first been obtained from the building official in <br />the manner and according to the applicable conditions <br />prescribed in Chapter 9, section 2.15 of the City Code. <br />c. Fees. Section 302 is amended to read as follows: <br />Whenever a building permit is required by section 301 <br />of this code, the appropriate fees shall be paid to the <br />building official as specified in Chapter 9, section <br />2.15 of the City Code. <br />d. Definitions. Section 401 is amended to read as <br />follows: <br />(i) Add the words "pursuant to Chapter 9, Section 2.15 <br />of the City Code" to the definition of Building <br />Code. <br />(ii) Amend the definition of Plumbing Code to read as <br />follows: "Plumbing Code is ~ the State of <br />Minnesota Plumbing Code." <br />• <br />(iii) Amend the definition of Mechanical Code to read <br />as follows: "Mechanical Code is the State of <br />Minnesota Mechanical Code. <br />e. Space and Occupancy Standards. Section 502, <br />paragraph (b) is deleted and the following inserted in <br />its place: <br />502 (b) Yards. Every yard shall conform to <br />applicable requirements of the city zoning code. <br />f. Substandard Buildincrs. Section 1001, paragraph (i) is <br />amended to read as follows: <br />1001(1) Fire Hazard. Any building or portion thereof, <br />device, apparatus, equipment, combustible waste or <br />vegetation which, in the opinion of the Fire Marshal, <br />or his or her deputy, is in such a condition as to <br />cause a fire or explosion or provide a ready fuel to <br />augment the spread and intensity of fire or explosion <br />arising from any cause. / <br />Section 2. This ordinance, passed this day of <br />shall become effective upon publication. <br />• <br />
