Any person who shall violate any <br />provision of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, <br />be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. <br />• 9-2.14 Land Development Chartres. ~ "" <br />All applicants for the issuance of any permit or final plan <br />approval shall pay in addition to the fees and charges for <br />platting, subdividing, rezoning, and the permits for <br />variances for land development or redevelopment within the <br />city, all out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the city in <br />employing the services of any engineer, legal counsel, or <br />other professional consultants with regard to reviewing said <br />plat, subdivision, application for rezoning and conditional <br />use permit or variance. <br />9-2.15 Uniform Building Code <br />Subdivision 1. The latest edition of the Uniform Building <br />Code (hereinafter "Building Code"}, copyrighted by the <br />International Conference of Building Officials, together <br />with all future amendments thereto, save and except such <br />portions as are hereinafter modified or amended by <br />subdivision 2 herein is adopted and incorporated as fully as <br />if set out at length herein, and the same shall be <br />controlling within the City of Falcon Heights. Not less <br />han one (1) copy of the building code has been marked as <br />the official copy and is filed in the office of the Clerk. <br />• Subdivision 2. Building Permit Fees. <br />a. Section 301 of the Building Code is hereby deleted <br />and the following is inserted in lieu thereof: Section <br />301. Permits Required. All persons, firms or <br />corporations erecting, constructing, enlarging, altering, <br />repairing, moving, improving, removing, converting or <br />demolishing any improvement, building or structure in the <br />city or causing the same to be done must obtain a <br />separate building permit for each improvement, building <br />or structure from the building inspector. This section <br />shall also apply to all driveways, parking lots, fences <br />and. signs. <br />b. Section 304 of the Building Code is hereby deleted <br />and the following is inserted in lieu thereof: (Amended <br />4/14/93, Ordinance 0-93-03) <br />304(a). Definition of Cubic Feet Cubic feet means <br />the total volume included within the surrounding <br />exterior walls of a building or portion thereof, <br />from the basement floor to the roof line. <br />304(b). Building Permit Fees. Section 304 of the <br />Uniform Building Code is hereby adopted together <br />• with all future amendments thereto.
