2. Add "Except by Permit" or similar language to existing
signs that restrict parking during daytime hours.
3. Allow residents, if they choose, to purchase parking
permits from the City of Falcon Heights so their
vehicles may be parked on Grove streets during
restricted hours.
4. Continue to grant temporary parking permits to residents
for non-resident visitors on an occasional basis.
If the City parking ordinance permits, the petitioners recommend
that the Grove be treated as a unit and that the following
streets be posted for permit parking:
o Both sides of Folwell Avenue
o North side of Hoyt Avenue, west of Coffman
o East side of Fulham Street
o Both sides of Vincent, Narthrop and Burton Streets
This would provide uniform parking stipulations throughout most
of the neighborhood and make enforcement easier.
The attached map shows the signature response on the petition by
household and street.
