When he was told <br />that the funds would be used to acquire and clear the <br />substandard structures, he responded that "grass would <br />be better than what is there now" referring to the <br />dilapidated structures. <br />VII. IS THE PROJECT READY TO GO, IF FUNDED? <br />The project is ready to go if it is funded. The property <br />owner and occupants are aware of the application. The <br />planning commission will be informed of the application at <br />its February meeting. The project completion will not be <br />impeded by the necessity of coordinating with any outside <br />agencies because the city will administer the land <br />acquisition, clearance and relocation internally. The <br />project should take no more than six months to one year from <br />start to finish. <br />• <br />VIII.
