Meeting Date 12/17/90
Agenda Item E-1
CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
PLANNING COMMISSION
ITEM DESCRIPTION: Proposed schedule for the comprehensive plan
SUBMITTED BY:
Susan Hoyt, City Planner
(in consultation with Fred Hoisington, Planning
Consultant)
REVIEWED BY: Jan Wiessner, City Administrator
EXPLANATION/DESCRIPTION:
The Commission requested an updated schedule for the
comprehensive planning process. This schedule is attached for
your information.
The attached schedule includes a review of the draft policies by
the Park, Solid Waste and Human Rights Commissions and City
staff. If their comments are substantially different from the
proposed policies, I am recommending a special January Planning
Commission workshop to discuss how to incorporate and
consolidate these comments into the policies prior to the
regularly scheduled January Planning Commission meeting.
Since the concept plan and the policies are the crux of the
comprehensive plan once they are completed, the remaining time
will be spent writing it, reviewing it and approving it.
ATTACHMENT 1 - PROPOSED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN SCHEDULE
ACTION REQUESTED:
1. Review, discuss and change as necessary.
