Effective <br />December 1, 2004, all of Lindig Street will become atwo-hour restricted parking zone, <br />ezcept for cars with valid permits. The two-hour parking limit will be in effect Monday <br />through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. <br />Residents of Lindig are eligible to purchase parking permits for their vehicles. If you are a <br />Lindig resident; you have been sent information on how to purchase a permit. Please contact <br />City Hall if you have any questions or did not receive an application. <br />• If you do not have a permit, your vehicle will be subject to the two-hour limit starting <br />December 1. This restriction will be enforced. <br />We would like to let you know about some other parking options for people who commute to <br />the University of Minnesota. <br />1. Twin City Co-ops Federal Credit Union has made a limited number of parking spaces <br />available at very reasonable cost on their property at 2025 University Avenue, directly <br />across from the Gortner Avenue entrance to campus. The current fee is $25.00/month <br />and can be discontinued over the summer without losing your space. If you are interested, <br />please contact Cindy Hartley, Director of Facilities, at 651-215-3430. <br />2. Gibbs Museum of Pioneer and Dalcotah Life also offers some space for contract parking <br />at competitive rates of $30 per month. There is also a daily rate of $1.50. The museum is <br />located at Larpentet~r and Cleveland.
