At that
point, I asked her to send me a letter outlining her concerns, and I would pass it al
long to the Planning Commission for their next meeting. The December meeting
was cancelled, and so we could consider this request at the January meeting.
As you know, the issue of lot coverage was raised by Ms. Warren almost a year
ago, and it took the Planning Commission about 8 months to resolve that issue.
The new lot coverage ordinance will be on the first January agenda for your
consideration.
The normal process in a request such as this would be for the Planning
Commission to review the height limitations and make a recommendation for how
to proceed.
She is planning to attend the meeting tonight and speak during the Community
Forum section of tonight's agenda. I just wanted you to have some background on
her request.
U
TREE CITY US.4
HOME OF THE MINNESOTA STATE FAIR AND THE U OF M ST.
