• Subdivision 4. Accessoi Use. An <br />area so as to comply with the terms of this Chapter sh 11 not be ugedefor the s or uvering <br />goods, inoperable vehicles, or be included as a part of the space requirements necessary <br />to meet the off-street parking area. <br />Subdivision 5. Alterations. Any structure erected or substantially altered for a use <br />which requires the receipt of distribution of materials or merchandise by trucks or similar <br />vehicles, shall provide off-street loading space as required for a new structure. <br />Subdivision 6. Schools. No public or private schools shall load or unload buses from <br />public streets but shall provide off-street loading and unloading facilities. <br />Subdivision 7. Repair and Service No motor vehicle repair work or service of any kind <br />shall be permitted in conjunction with loading facilities provided in any residential <br />district. <br />Subdivision 8. Utili~ Space allocated to any off-street loading shall not, while so <br />allocated, be used to satisfy the space requirements for any off-street parking facilities or <br />portions thereof. <br />Subdivision 9. "B2" District. Areas within the "B2" zoning district exempt from <br />off-street parking requirements may also be exempt from loading requirements as may be <br />determined by the zoning administrator, but only when also zoned Planned Unit <br />Development or Concentrated or Central business district special overlay district. <br />Subdivision 10. Central Loadin Central loading facilities may be substituted for <br />loading berths on the individual zoning lots provided the following conditions are <br />fulfilled: <br />a. Each zoning lot served shall have direct access to the central loading area <br />without crossing streets or alleys at grade. <br />b. Total berths provided shall meet the requirements based on the sum of the <br />several types of uses served. (Area of types of uses may be totaled before <br />computing number of loading berths.) <br />c. No zoning lot served shall be more than 300 feet removed from the central loading <br />area. <br />Subdivision 11. Minimum Facilities. Uses for which off-street loading facilities are <br />required herein, but which are located in buildings of less floor area than the minimum <br />prescribed for such required facilities, shall be provided with adequate receiving facilities, <br />20 <br />
