Statute requires notice to be published at <br />least 10 days in advance, so the following week is too <br />late. <br />March 27 -Planning Commission holds a public <br />hearing and makes a recommendation to the City <br />Council. <br />March 28 -Council does meet on this day, but it <br />would be very unusual to get the variance on the <br />agenda for this meeting. <br />April 11 -City Council considers the variance request <br />and votes to approve or deny <br />April 25 - If the variance could not be placed on the <br />April 11 agenda, it must be considered on April 24 to <br />meet the 60 day time limit. <br />If the variance is approved, the building permit may be <br />applied for. <br />
