• Storm Water Management: Goals and Policies <br />This section provides recommended goals and policies for the City's Storm Water <br />Management Plan. The City of Falcon Heights will reference and adopt the Capitol <br />Region Watershed District's goals and policies that are applicable to the City. These <br />goals and policies are consistent with the Rice Creek Watershed District's goals and <br />policies. <br />Intergovernmental Cooperation <br />Intergovernmental Cooperation Goals <br />• Coordinate with the CRWD and RCWD to pursue partnerships to provide effective, <br />efficient and consistent water management activities. <br />Intergovernmental Cooperation Policies <br />• Policies WMla and WMlb: Participate in CRWD and RCWD water management <br />forum(s) and committees. <br />• Policy WM 1 c: Coordinate preparation and updates of local water management plan <br />and regulatory programs with CRWD and RCWD. <br />• Integrated Resource Management <br />Integrated Resource Management Goals <br />• When planning and implementing water resource management activities, evaluate the <br />effects on other natural resources and strive for a balanced approach. <br />Integrated Resource Management Policies <br />• Policies WM2a and WM2b: Coordinate and cooperate with the CRWD and RCWD <br />when establishing unique and high value natural resources associated with water <br />resources.
