CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of the City <br />• Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of <br />August, 1980. <br />The following members were present: Acting Mayor Brown, Councilmembers <br />Steele, Eggert and Larson and the following were absent: Mayor Warkentien. <br />Councilmember Larson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION 80-23 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE RELATING <br />TO GAS APPLIANCES, INCINERATORS, AIR CONDITIONING, <br />VENTILATING AND REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 23 of the City of Falcon Heights regulates the in- <br />sts.llation, alteration, repair or service to gas burners, gas burner equipment, <br />portable or domestic incinerators, and other gas appliances, and <br />WHEREAS, said Ordinance establishes certain minimum fees for certain types <br />of gas appliances but allows the council to set by resolution fees relating to <br />the compensation of the gas inspector, and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 23 was adopted in 1953, making the fee schedule <br />considerably out of date, and <br />WHEREAS, the City is desirous of establishing by resolution a fee schedule <br />• relating to gas appliances, incinerators, together with air condition, ventilating <br />and refrigeration systems, and <br />WHEREAS, the City is desirous of establishing by resolution a division of <br />the fees received between itself and the gas inspector; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br />1. The fees to be charged for installation of gas appliances and gas piping, <br />together with incinerators, ventilation systems, air conditioning and refrigeration <br />work shall be set ~fo~ah. in the attached schedule. The attached schedule states <br />the total fee for each installation or appliance, which is a combination of the <br />minimum fee established by ordinance and the additional fee established for this <br />work. Thus the total fee for each installation is as set forth in the attached <br />schedule. <br />2. Of each fee received, the City shall retain 25% and shall remit to the. <br />gas inspector 75%. A periodic accounting of these fees shall be made by the City <br />Clerk as between the gas inspector and the City. <br />3. This resolution is effective from and after August 13, 1980. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Eggert and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Brown, Councilmembers Steele, Eggert and Larson <br />and the following voted against same: None. <br />• WHEREUPON, the resoluuion was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Atte ~~ ~ ioy~''r`~ <br />Helen L.
