EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />. VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />HELD: November 20, 1972 <br />Resolution No. 72-53 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, <br />Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall in said Village on <br />the 20th day of November, 1972, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilman Black, Councilman Stone, Councilman Eckland, Council- <br />woman Stocker and the following were absent: none. <br />Member Stocker introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />Resolution 72-53 <br />RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE USE OF THE LINDIG PROPERTY <br />LJ <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Arthur Lindig has been a resident <br />of this area for many years, including a period <br />prior to the incorporation of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights; <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Lindig resides at 1875 West <br />Larpenteur Avenue, and adjoining his residence <br />is a lot, also owned by him, upon which is <br />located a greenhouse; <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Lindig is desirous of selling <br />one lot and improvement thereon, but is having <br />difficulty because the immediate area is zoned <br />"R-3" pursuant to ordinance No. 6~+ of the <br />Village of Falcon Heights; <br />WHEREAS: Mr. Lindig's greenhouse was built <br />prior to the adoption of Ordinance No. 64 and <br />is considered a previously existing noncon- <br />forming use in the "R-3"distr.ict; <br />WHEREAS, Section ~+.3 (5) of Ordinance No. 6~+ <br />provides, in essence, that if a lawful non- <br />conforming use is destroyed by fire, explosion <br />
