-~. <br />• WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Engineer .indicated that if the <br />"median plan" is approved, a temporary curb cut could be <br />placed in the south median between Larpenteur and California <br />Avenues, thereby allowing better access to residential and <br />commercial establishments to the south of Larpenteur Avenue; <br />WHEREAS, various persons attended the special meeting who <br />own residential and commercial property in the vicinity of <br />the interchange, and fully discussed the merits and objec- <br />bons of both plans; <br />WHEREAS, the Council fully considered the merits and objec- <br />tions of both plans, in light of the r reds of the immediate <br />property owners, the health and safety of all the residents <br />• of the Village, and the financial difficulties that might <br />result if the Village were to be required to fund part of <br />the construction costs. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />FOR THE VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS AS FOLLOWS: <br />The "median plan" is hereby approved, as set forth on <br />the attached Exhibit "A", provided that no trees are removed <br />in the vicinity of the interchange, and a temporary curb <br />cut of approximately twenty (20) feet be installed in the <br />median to allow access to the alley between Larpenteur and <br />California Avenues.
