• FR: Keith Feldbrugge
Ramsey County Sentence to Service
357 Oneida St.
St. Paul, NIN 55102
RE: Sentence to Service crews assistance
Dear Bill,
Ramsey County Sentence to Service would be pleased to assist the City of Falcon
Heights with the removal of woody invasive plants in the projects proposed on their DNR
Conservation Partner grant applications. It is my understanding that our supervised crews
would assist your neighborhood volunteers with the cutting, hauling and disposal of the
cut woody invasive plants.
We feel this project will benefit both the neighborhoods, and the individuals
who are scheduled to work on the Sentence to Service crews. So often our crews are
stuck doing trash pickup along roadsides. With this project, they will be receiving
education, acquiring skills and be able to see a definite site improvement from their
efforts. Plus, a single experience with woody invasive's removal may convince
individuals to never again put themselves in a situation where their consequence will be
• assignment to a Sentence to Service crew.
Sincerely,
Keith Feldbrugge
Ramsey County Sentence to Service Director
•
