Denise Deen, Patrick Dolan, Jim Evans, Chuck Long, Bill Maertz, Laura <br />Kuettel <br />1. Approval of agenda -agenda approved unanimously <br />2. Call to order <br />3. Election of chair for 2004 -Chuck Long was nominated and elected <br />chair for 2004 <br />4. Review of 2003 accomplishments - <br />a. Completed plans for Curtiss Field improvements. <br />b. V~orked with the Capital Region V~atershed and the deveio er of th <br />p e SE corner to <br />reduce water flow from that site to Curtiss Field by 72% <br />c. Awarded grant of $54,000 from DNR to improve the Trolley Path. Held 4 public <br />meetings to work on neighborhood approval of improvements. <br />d. Reduced recreation program expenditures by 23% while increasing participation. <br />e. Provided recreation scholarships for 22 children with funds raised by the Falcon <br />Heights Friends of the Parks Fund. <br />f. Held two successful, well attended community events. <br />g. Installed ADA compliant surface at Grove Park. <br />h. Received a $3,000 donation from the Falcon Heights Lions Club for the installation <br />of a new playground structure that will be installed in spring of 2004 <br />i. Initiated a new field use policy that recovers costs of field use by large tournaments. <br />
