Ann Davy <br />Present: Denise Deen, Patrick Dolan, Jim Evans, Chuck Long, Bill Maertz, Ann Davy <br />Excused Absence: Laura Kuettel <br />1. Meeting called to order 7:00 PM <br />2. Approval of agenda <br />• 3. Approval of March 8, 2004 minutes <br />4. Director's Report <br />a. Curtiss Field bid results: <br />Project approved at the April 14 City Council meeting with vote of 5-0. <br />J Brothers of Forest Lake was awarded the bid for the project <br />($323,000). An informational meeting for the neighborhood will be held <br />on May 11. Evans inquired about the completion date for the project. <br />The estimated completion date for the bulk of the construction is <br />June 20. The gazebo and benches will not be in at that time and field <br />seeding will be in the Fall. <br />b. Trolley Path summary: <br />Maertz met with the neighborhood, but only 15 of 18 neighbors support <br />the plan. Mayor Gehrz said the City should hold off on the plan at this <br />time. The University Minnesota and the Bell Museum are still in favor of <br />the plan. <br />c. New Play Structure at Community Park: <br />The new play structure at Community Park is in place. The structure <br />• was in on time and was on budget. There has been a positive <br />response from the community. Grass seed has been planted in the <br />area surrounding the structure. <br />
