Greg Hoag <br />Present Patrick Dolan, Chuck Long, Kimberly Kuhens, Laura Kuettel, Greg Hoag <br />Absenf: James Evans <br />1. Meeting called to order 7:00 PM <br />2. Approval of minutes December 13, 2004 (Long, Dolan) Hoag reported that <br />• there are amenities for Curtiss Field that will be installed in the spring. <br />3. Approval of agenda <br />4. Staff Report <br />a. Recreation Supervisor /Administrative Assistant Position <br />Hoag reported that after meeting with Ann Davy and Heather <br />Worthington that the position should continue as a full-time split <br />position. Having this person here full-time helps to better form a good <br />team working environment. Kuettel noted that staff should look for a <br />candidate with good supervision and leadership skills to work with the <br />existing Jr. Leaders. The members of the Commission also expressed <br />their appreciation of a job well done, and a big thank you to Ann Davy. <br />b. Skating Rink update <br />Hoag reported that as of February 11, 2005 all of the skating rinks were <br />closed for the season. The season was short this year due to an un- <br />seasonablywarm winter. Hoag handed out a rink attendance log for the <br />season. In summary the skating season was 51 days, Community Park <br />was open 35 days during that period with a total of 471 skaters. Curtiss <br />• Field was open 45 days with a total of 1044 skaters. Use of the rinks at <br />the school and Grove Park was monitored through how many times <br />they needed to be cleaned off from skating. Both rinks were cleaned <br />
