And add at the <br />• end of the paragraph "As requested by the Council". <br />Harris then asked that a Header or Footer be added to the pages to date when <br />this document was updated. <br />The following are changes made to the second page: <br />^ Under Commission's Duties- add "working with or charging a city <br />Staff to work with neighboring cities. <br />^ Add an additional duty: Item E: Solicit community input as <br />appropriate. <br />Anderson then state the changes would be made and a new rough draft would <br />be available to finalize at next months meeting. <br />8. 2006 Goats and Meeting Agendas <br />Long asked the Commission Members if there were any additional goals to be <br />added to the fist drafted at the previous meeting. No new goals were added to <br />the list, Commissioners agreed present goals were good. Anderson then <br />handed out a draft of meeting dates and their agendas. The agendas were <br />created based on the 2006 goals. Commissioners agreed on the agendas. <br />• 8.5 Process of Comprehensive Ptan Update <br />Anderson and Hoag put together the current Comprehensive Plan chapters <br />and asked the Commission for their thoughts on what type of format we would <br />like to see the updated version in. Long; started the discussion on hov€the <br />original plan was laid out. Long recommended having a chapter per park <br />stating its existing amenities, needs, goals and improvement for them. Along <br />with other Commission members they felt incx}rporating past and present <br />recreational programs and events should be an addition. in the plan. Harris <br />suggested conducting another survey as the company did for fhe 1989 plan to <br />find out current trends or wants fro~rrr residents. C~zasky recommended lookirrg <br />at'~vhat other cities are doing and see how their cc~prehensive plan is <br />fs~rrr9atted, Evans then asked about the Trolley Rath and if that would. be <br />important to include in the plan.
