Pittman responded that while there is limited parking in that area, in
order to try to provide quality ice it is the only alternative at this time than
having it up at Community Park where the City has struggled to get good ice
and attract people to come and use it.
4. New Business
Abernathy asked the Commission to be thinking of different activities they may
want to see at this year's Winterfest (formally The Dead of Winter). With this
year being the first year it would be great to have new ideas or activities for
families to enjoy. Abernathy reported that we have booked the horses so those
will continue at this year's event. Harris explained that the City is now looking •
at Commissions having a logo of some sort that will include the City falcon
logo. This may be used in publications, signs or at different events. Mielke
then asked about revisiting the topic of the front yard.
Next Park Commission meeting will be Monday, November 19 at City Hall at
6:30pm
Adjournment
Motion to adjourn was made by Mielke and seconded by Faust
Minutes respectfully submitted by Lisa Abernathy.
