Jyneen forewarned us that a tendency for schools to <br />implement an environmental studies program may result in a request for <br />• participation, if that is part of the school's educational blueprint. <br />4. Ice rink update. Carol K. is optimistic for good ice this year, and <br />hopes to have rinks open before Christmas. An experienced ice <br />superintendent has been hired and there has been good response to ads <br />far flooding personnel. <br />5. Sign landscaping. Morris reported that Andy Malzer, an Eagle Scout <br />candidate, has expressed an interest in working on the landscaping <br />around the Community Park sign, with Jyneen as professional advisor. As <br />other scouts have expressed similar interests, Morris requested that the <br />project be granted to Andy, as the first candidate. Motion seconded by <br />Carol W. <br />6.
