.~
of the lively discussion, it was agreed that we should all communicate our feelings to
Sue Gehrz.
5. Support of MRPA and Friends of the Parks Requests:
We generally agreed that this sort of request for legislative support of various
park and rec. issues could be put in the city newsletter. We agreed that while we think
they probably great resolutions, the commission should not vote or support general
legislative issues outside our direct city involvement.
6. Parking Lot at the Community Park
A bid was put out to seal coat the parking lot at the CP when the other streets
are seal coated to save money. Proposed parking lot improvements at the CP were
distributed, making the lot one way and angling the parking spaces. This should make
the flow of traffic in the lot much safer. Everyone agreed the parking lot plans looked
great.
7. Bathroom Facilities at the Community Park
Due to the late hour, this was tabled for the next meeting.
Respectfully submitted,
D~'~~.,.~-,~iC- ~ GEC /~rt~s~t_-
Linda McLoon
