Scott argued for leaving the playground in the bid, but the
commission was adamant. Carol K has already contacted several
companies, and we will continue to pursue that part of the plan ourselves.
4. Bike Rodeo
By unanimous decision, we decided to do a bike rodeo every other
year. The interest last year had decreased, and it is a lot of work. With the
park plans this year, it was a good year to take a vacation from this.
5. Capitollmprovements
Carol K handed out the old capitol improvements schedule. Due to
the grant and changing priorities, we need to look over this and adjust the
money to meet what we are actually doing. Especially consider that we
need certain things at the Community Park building that we just have not
been getting through donations. We may want to redistribute funds to buy
these. The 5 year total would stay the same, but the year-to-year costs
would change. Due to the late hour further discussion was tabled until next
meeting.
6. The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 pm.
Respectfully submitted,
~ ~ ~~
Linda McLoon, Secretary
•
