CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Purusant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />t'he Falcon Heights Planning Commission was held on the 3rd day of May, <br />1982. <br />The following members were present: Stefanson, Olson, Bourquin, <br />Nilsen, Labalestra, Wallin, Blomberg, Mead and Waldo and the following were <br />absent: None. <br />Commission Member Olson introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 82-4 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY <br />COUNCIL APPROVAL OF THE PLAT FOR BERNWOOD <br />ADDITIONS NOS.. 2, 3, 4, AND 5, AND GRANT- <br />ING THE VARIANCES REQUESTED BY AMERICAN <br />SHELTER CORPORATION UNDER THE PROVISIONS <br />OF SECTION 16.4 IN: ORDINANCE ~~64 <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Falcon Heights has <br />reviewed the request of American Shelter Corporation for a variance and the <br />preliminary plans for Bernwood Additions 2 through Sand <br />WHEREAS, these. variances are permitted in Section 16.4 of Ordinance <br />464, known as the Zoning Ordinance, and <br />• WHEREAS,. the preliminary plat plan complies with Section 7.2 of <br />Article VII of Ordinance X669, known as the Subdivision and Platting Ordinance, <br />and <br />.WHEREAS, the City Planning Consultant., Carl Dale, has made recom- <br />mendations dated April 23, 1982, which are on file, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Robert Schunicht, made further recom- <br />mendations dated May 3, 1982, which are on file, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Falcon Heights recommends to the City .Council their approval of the <br />variance request and the preliminary. plat of Bernwood Additions 2 through 5, <br />incorporating the recommendations of the City Planner and City Engineer which <br />will serve the public interest. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Commission Member Nilsen and upon a vote being taken-the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: Olson, Bourquin, Nilsen, Labalestra, Wallin, <br />Blomberg, Stefanson, Mead and Waldo, and the following voted against the <br />same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />^~ > - <br />~,~ <br />Attest: i~,- Alan Stefanson, Ch Oman <br />`~c <br />ald Wallin, Secretary <br />
