CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting @~ the City Planning Commission of the :City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 25th day of October, 1982. The following members were present: Stefanson, Olson, Wallin, Blomgerg and Nilsen, and the following were absent: Waldo, Bourquin, Chenoweth and Mead. Planning Commission Member Olson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 82-b A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE CITY COUNCIL OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA TO PASS A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE RAMSEY COUNTY ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT TO PERMIT: FLOWER CITY LIMITED USE ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF THEIR PROPERTY ADJACENT TO LARPENTEUR aAUENUE. WHEREAS, Marvin Stillman, owner of a parcel of land lying northeast of the intersection of Snelling Avenue and Larpenteur Avenue and, WHEREAS, Marvin Stillman is contemplating construction of a building for retail business after the. total loss of a portion of his retail business by fire, and WHEREAS, to utilize his property effectively the Planning Commission is recommending certain variances be granted by the City Council, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends to the City Council that Mr. Stillman provide adequate parking spaces, and WHEREAS, to meet the recommendations the Planning Commission requests the City Council to pass a resolution requesting the Ramsey County Engineering Department to permit limited use of said right-of-way south of their property adjacent to Larpenteur Avenue, The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Planning Commission Member N,il en and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Commission Members Stefanson, Olson, Wallis Blomberg and Nilsen, and the following voted against the same: None.
