It is our understanding that <br />the dog obedience school contemplates keeping several dogs over- <br />night. Since Section 15 of Ordinance 101 prohibits the estab- <br />lishment of }:ennels within the Village, it is our recommendation <br />that the City treat the request as one for a conditional use per- <br />mit under the provisions of Section 11.2 of the Ordinance and in <br />w the event dogs are to be kept overnight, Ordinance 101, Section 15, <br />should be amended by striking Section 15 and substituting there- <br />fore the following: <br />No kennel may be established in the City <br />without the application for and the granting of <br />a license, which license shall be granted on <br />such terms and conditions as may from time to <br />time be established by the City. <br />If you have any further questions, please call. <br />Sincerely, <br />~~ <br />,~ ~ <br />M.
