Schiller praposes a aiyc foot high sign across the satire 44 foot <br />eidth at' his building anti along a 24 foot space an the south side of the <br />bi~].ding. The letters on the sign are 3 ftet high. The Planning <br />Ca~nl.ssian felt that the six foot plastic backing for the letters <br />xs.11 sot as a fading to the building and that only the space devoted <br />to the letters Would aonstitnte the "sign" area. The area far the <br />letters themselves equals 2flj square feet. The ordinance allo~c <br />lOQ square feet. Aa the sign is attractively designed., the Planning <br />Caa-miisaion receomtnends that the Village Council grant l~~r.
