j
`:
Several of these items could be disposed of promptly. The Mayor has suggested
this morning that we consider the use of an "agriculture park" designation for
some of the University property. This proposition should be discussed; however,
it does appear to me without having studied the matter too thoroughly, that
PI zoning classification adequately protects the village on the uses which
could he made of University property.
Howard Dahlgren suggested at the meeting that the intent of the zoning of the
University property represented by the original zoning map could be carried
out even though we change the zoning to PI, if the Council, by resolution,
would adopt the land use map which was developed as a preliminary to the
actual zoning map.. Perhaps at the committee meeting on the 19th, we should
review the land use map and recommend to the Council that that be adopted by
resolution and if we can reach final agreement amongst ourselves on the zoning
and the ordinance, very likely this could be wound up on Thursday night,
December 21.
If at all posszble, please try and make the meeting on the 19th.
David P. Cartwright
Chairman, Falcon Heights Planning Commission
