GREATER ST. Your support of RSVP has enabled us to
continue our present level of benefits to the seniors we
serve and to reach into the community to recruit and place
approximately 200 new volunteers each year.
While RSVP receives a portion of its funding from federal
and state sources, 51% must be raised through local
contributions. As a result, we urge you to consider
matching your past contribution of $30.00 or increasing it
to $50.00 this year.
We know that you and your colleagues at City of Falcon
Heights appreciate the enormous humanitarian contribution
RSVP Volunteers make to your organizaiton, to your
clientele, and to our larger community. The economic
contribution is equally great. In 1992 RSVP Volunteers
contributed 364 hours of service to City of Falcon Heights.
The dollar value of these hours of service calculated at an
average wage amounts to $3,938.48.
Together we can continue our partnership to promote senior
volunteerism while addressing community needs. We urge you
to continue your past support to enable us to reach these
goals.
Sincerely,
/2 (r-
Carol Thompson
Assistant Director
A program sponsored by ACTION, Minnesota Board on Aging and
St. Paul Ramsey Medical Center
