This was the lowest <br /> of the three quotes received. <br /> The department has now been informed by Motorola that they cannot <br /> sell at that price. Apparently the salesman made an error on the <br /> quote by giving 30% off the total bill rather than 30% off the <br /> HT600 radio only. This results in an additional $716.05 making a <br /> total cost of $5,679.05, which is $929.43 less than the next <br /> lowest quote of $6,608.48. <br /> Staff recommends that the additional $716.05 be authorized in <br /> order that the equipment may be purchased without further delay. <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: Authorize an additional $716.05 for purchase of <br /> the pagers, radios, and accessories from <br /> Dispatch Communications at a total cost of <br /> $5,679.05. <br /> Consent ommo Consent 04000 g Consent Consent Consent Consent <br />
