Attached is a site plan for <br /> proposed improvements (Attachment A), an accompanying outline <br /> (Attachment B), and a projected budget estimate (Attachment C). <br /> These plans are the culmination of a park planning process that <br /> began last fall. A neighborhood survey was distributed to each <br /> home in the Grove as well as each unit in 1666 Coffman. <br /> Tabulated results were analyzed as well as comments, concerns and <br /> suggestions from 104 completed surveys. A meeting for <br /> neighborhood youth was held at the park in an effort to solicit <br /> their input. A neighborhood park planning task force met on <br /> several occasions to develop and further refine the plans. Late <br /> in May the plan was presented to approximately 40 interested <br /> residents of the Grove and 1666 Coffman for their input. <br /> Estimated cost: $40,000 $42,000. <br /> A presentation of the proposed plan will be made at the July 28th <br /> council meeting. <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: Approval of the Grove Park plan. Specific <br /> activities will be submitted for cost approval. <br />
