Since the very first day we offered services in suburban Ramsey <br /> Patricia O'Gorman <br /> David Schwartz County, we have been proud to act in partnership with the agencies <br /> and officials who have an impact on the lives of women and children <br /> Director affected by domestic abuse. Together, I believe we are making a <br /> Patricia Teiken difference in those lives. <br /> Jeanne A. Campion A brief look at the statistics from suburban Ramsey County tells some <br /> Endowment Fund of the story. In 1992 we intervened in 442 domestic assault cases, <br /> Gifts and Bequests including 4 in Falcon Heights. This year promises to be even busier: <br /> will ensure <br /> during the first quarter of 1993, we have already intervened in 196 <br /> availability g q y <br /> of services. cases. In addition, our advocates contacted 2,157 victims and 133 <br /> assailants from January to March, 1993, and attended court 865 times <br /> in order to monitor hearings. Of these cases, 7 victims, and 1 assailant <br /> involved citizens from your community. <br /> Besides these intervention services, we answered 1,295 Ramsey County <br /> "Equal <br /> calls to our crisis line (compared to 947 for all of last year). Other <br /> Opportunity services provided include safe homes, support groups, referrals, and <br /> Employer" community education.
