Changing demographics
John Treadwell will check with foreign student organization at the University of
Minnesota to see if we can make a presentation to their group to familiarize them with
Human Rights Commissions.
Ted Johnson has begun researching materials that we could suggest to the schools
that would address issues of diversity. "Eye of the Storm" is a video that may be
good (27 minutes long).
Willems moved to approve minutes from September 21, 1993 meeting. Treadwell
seconded motion. Minutes approved.
Discussed having an open house at city hall with a film and speaker from the
International Human Rights Group at the University.
Ted Johnson and John Treadwell will meet with the principal of Falcon Heights
elementary school to discuss possible activities with our commission.
Respectfully submitted,
Wayne Groff, Chair
